Shakespeare’s Birthplace

Whilst in Stratford-Upon-Avon, I had to visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace.

Amazingly, it was possible for me to manoeuvre my wheels around the ground floor of this very old building and everyone was very helpful. The guides didn’t even mind when I clipped the corner of the rogue stone step that poked out in a very awkward place! Mind you I am sure that it has seen much more abuse over the years…

It was here that I met the world’s loveliest gardener who was more than happy for me to snap away at the amazing poppies there.
