It’s a bug’s life!

I could sit in the garden and photograph bees and other insects all day. Is it just me that thinks that they all seem to have characters of their own? I love how the bees seem to get themselves covered in pollen, mucky pups!

Here are a few of my insect images. If anyone has an idea what the little bugs coming out of their eggs were I would be very grateful as I haven’t got a Scooby Doo? Although having seen ladybird larvae and pupa I am pretty sure they aren’t ladybirds…..mind you, now I am prepared to be totally wrong!

  1. I’m with you – I could sit an a garden and photograph bugs all day, too. All lovely views, pretty colors. I think the unknown bugs are newly hatched stink bugs. Search on “stink bug nymphs” and you’ll find similar ones. There are several possible species.

    1. Aha! Thank you. I have seen the adults in the garden now and again but I never would have guessed that those little guys were the nymphs!

  2. These are really nice:))

    1. Thank you so much for dropping by and taking the time to comment!

  3. The fuzzy bee tickles me. These are very good macros. So pretty with great bokeh too.

  4. I do love photographing bees, they are such characters!

I admit that I didn’t know what “bokeh” was and had to look it up (for anyone else that is as ignorant as I, it refers to the blur or shallow depth of field). Thanks for the compliment and teaching me something new! 😀
